Funding
This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to purchase Chromebooks
Award of Science and Maths Excellence as part of the Discover Primary Science & Maths (DPSM) programme.
The awards recognise the achievements of primary school children and their teachers in the application of science and maths in the classroom.
We are involved in Comenius School Partnerships.
Comenius is part of the European Community’s Lifelong Learning Programme, funded by our National Agency, Léargas. These partnerships with other European schools allow intercultural exchanges. Its goal among others is to strengthen European dimension in education, promoting cooperation between pupils and teachers from different European countries.
